WFD to Honor The Lives Lost in CT

Monday, December 24, 2012 5:30 PM As the Holidays are amongst us and families come together, we must not forget that not every family is having the best of Holidays.  Innocent lives were taken far too soon on Friday December 14, 2012 at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Ct. There are presents under the tree that will never be opened, Brides that will never walk down the aisle, and the possibilities of what may of been a Doctor that will never heal, a Soilder who will never defend, a Quarterback who will never throw a 50 yard touchdown, and Teachers that will never grade papers again.

The Westminster Fire Department is hosting a Candlelight vigil with a moment of silence at 5:30 PM on Christmas Eve to remember the innocent souls that no longer are amongst us. We invite anyone and everyone to come join us as we pay respect to these 20 Children and 6 Teachers one last time.
