Medal of Valor- "Under Especially hazardous conditions, courageously risked their own life to save another...." -James Falise Sr. While operating on the second floor of a house fire, Evacuation tones were given due to deteriorating interior conditions. As Firefighter Falise was leaving the second floor he found one of the crew members to be unaccounted for.While searching for the firefighter, Firefighter Falise found him partially through the floor and trapped. Without the protection of a hand line, Firefighter Falise remained with the trapped firefighter pulling him from the hole in the floor and removed him from the house.
