Thursday evening, May 28, members of Westminster participated in training that focused on a device known as a Deck Gun. This specialty nozzle can either be mounted on top of the fire engine or be utilized in a remote location. This nozzle can flow high volumes of water up to 1000 gallons per minute. Members were shown how to correctly and efficiently deploy it while it is mounted on top of the fire engine. They also had the opportunity to set it up on the ground for remote operations.
